About the Class

Contemporary Pilates Mat is appropriate for beginners and experienced mover alike. Class is a unique mix of Pilates choreography, challenging isometrics focused on alignment, PNF pendulums, & restorative stretches. Each class is unique to support the general needs of the clients who show up to that day’s class.

  • Group classes are designed for generally healthy bodies -bodies NOT in the acute phase of an injury. These classes move at a steady pace, switch positions often, and are not able to offer pillows/wedges/bolsters. Class is not intended for injury rehabilitation or individualized medical need.

  • Clients who are navigating injuries, significant pain, or more complex movement needs are encouraged to begin with private sessions. This allows us to create an individualized program that prioritizes safety and sets you up for success.

    It also helps us maintain a consistent pace in group classes for those seeking a regularly structured experience.

    Our goal is to offer classes that are safe, effective, and respectful of everyone’s time and investment—while ensuring each client receives the level of support they need to truly thrive.
